Mrs Smith
Mrs Smith was my point of entry into Spick and Span glamour. When we first met, she was in her late 30s, worked for a builder company and had a gorgeously toned figure and fabulous legs. It was something of a chance encounter which led to a very fruitful photographic relationship. She did not come by the way of a backstreet photo studio and had not modelled before. That turned out to be the perfect way to start. This is a selection from the very first shoot taken in 1986. We agreed upon a 1950s-style bikini pin-up feel to get under way. My ineptitude with a recently-obtained 35mm Olympus OM-1 is responsible for the somewhat naff quality.
