Claudia Casali
Once you get your foot on the bottom rung of the girlie glamour ladder, then (not to mix metaphors!) doors start to open. One of the regulars on the circuit was Claudia Casali, of Italian parentage but from the upper reaches of north London into the home counties. Claudia did the rounds of the top shelf magazines and the burgeoning soft-core video brands, including the notorious Fiona Cooper, who dubbed her Nicky. With her Mediterranean complexion and Lollobrigida curves at just 5ft 1, it’s not hard to imagine why she had plenty of offers. Indeed, her olive-skinned face and figure led to her being passed off as an Asian babe on the cover of one of, possibly, Sullivan’s titles. Claudia was not overly self-confident when she started out, but she grew into it, going down some rabbit-holes it might have been wiser to avoid. She’d be 50 now.
